Our employees are required to carry either a residential or journeyman plumbing license or an apprentice certification card issued by the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries.

In compliance with Labor & Industries requirements, employees are also required to complete 8 hours of continued education each year. Kimco fulfills this requirement with in house classes and partially reimburses participating employees. For other continuing education opportunities, check out or

Safety is a priority at Kimco Plumbing. We provide safety training on hire and ongoing safety classes with an open format to facilitate employee input. We are a drug free workplace and reserve the option to conduct random drug screening to ensure a safe working environment on our projects.

Performance reviews are conducted annually giving the employees the opportunity for improvement and advancement.  We encourage apprentices to complete the education/training and licensing necessary to become a residential plumber.
